Dear Neighbors and Friends,
As we continue to reflect on 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the strength, generosity, and spirit of the Glenside community. The Glenside Civic Association exists to bring neighbors together, elevate local voices, and champion initiatives that make our town a vibrant and welcoming place to live. This year, thanks to your support, we have made meaningful progress on all fronts.
All of the volunteer first-responders, community leaders, and neighbors who rallied in response to the SPS fire come to mind as a vivid illustration of how our community shows up for Glenside – certainly in the face of adversity, but it reminds of our everyday relationships, too. Similarly, we were proud to host more than 200 of you for a meeting with local officials following the fire, but we weren’t surprised, because we see how Glenside shows up consistently. From community clean-ups and beautification efforts to well-attended events that brought families and neighbors together, we have seen firsthand what is possible when residents step forward to get involved.
This impact report highlights the progress we’ve made together: improved
neighborhood engagement, stronger communication channels, successful events, and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for all who call Glenside home. Each
accomplishment is a direct reflection of your commitment and belief in the power of
community.
